What is a Leather House?

"Leather House" is a term used to describe a group within the broader BDSM and Leather Culture community that functions as a traditional family under a hierarchical structure with a central dominant figure, often referred to as the "Head of Household" who holds authority over all of the members of the House whether they be dominant, switch, submissive or slave. A Leather House generally provides a sense of belonging, camaraderie, and support for their members.

What is House Blue Flames?

House Blue Flames is a Leather House and an independent member of the Ta-Seti Nation, dedicated to fostering a structured and supportive environment that embodies the core values of loyalty, duty, honor, selfless service, courage, respect, honesty, integrity, and perseverance. Within our household, we strive to build discipline, service, and a sense of family and tribe among our members, creating a harmonious atmosphere where everyone can thrive. Each member plays a vital role in the seamless operation of the House, contributing to the high standards we uphold.

Leadership within House Blue Flames begins with Ryuuza Tatsujin Sable (the “Master of the House”), with delegated authority and responsibility given to the Executive Officer, (the "XO”), a Dominant who supports the Master of the House as an Executive Assistant.

Delegated authority and responsibility are also given to the Majordomo, a senior slave, for overseeing household management and staff coordination while working in tandem with the Executive Officer, since their roles are complementary. All other members are assigned to a staff position within the House, based on their rank and skillset.

This structured approach follows a military-style hierarchy that ensures that all tasks are executed efficiently, and members can rely on one another for support and guidance, promoting an environment where members can express their individuality while adhering to the House's standards and expectations. Members are assigned to the following staff areas, all working collaboratively to ensure the efficient operation of the House.

  1. Command Group
  2. Personal Care and Administration
  3. Security & Transportation
  4. Event Planning & Culinary Service
  5. Concierge/Valet & Housekeeping
  6. Historian/Librarian
  7. Information/Web Services
  8. Budgeting and Finance
