"Veneratio quod diligo in servitus."
"The reverence that I love in servitude."
More than a household, House Blue Flames, is a military-style hierarchical leather culture community that includes the House Blue Flames Military Department. Our community is focused on holding space and creating a culture where our members are encouraged to travel their spiritual paths, discover their hidden talents, develop their hard and soft skills, and creatively engage their local communities with excellence in service as transformative and servant leaders.
Vision Statement
To cultivate role-irrelevant leaders of excellence who exemplify the core values within the BDSM and Leather Culture.
Mission Statement
Provide the training and resources to develop leaders and servants of excellence.
House Blue Flames, serves BDSM and Leather Culture through the following:
House Blue Flames exists in a culture filled with social and economic diversity. With the Six (6) Pillars, we have begun focusing on all we have in common to answer all the questions with the same voice.
House Blue Flames helps our members discover their hidden talents, and develop their skill to creatively engage the world with excellence in leadership and service .
We teach our members that there is "Honor in Service" regardless of their position or role. This philosophy is derived from the Latin "Veneratio quod diligo in servitus," which translates into English and means "The reverence that I love in servitude."
"Cultivate role-irrelevant leaders of excellence who exemplify core values within the BDSM and Leather Culture."
Our vision is to foster an inclusive environment where leadership is not defined by one's role but by one's actions and character. We aim to nurture role-irrelevant leaders who not only excel in their responsibilities but also embody the core values that underpin the BDSM and Leather Culture. Through continuous learning, mentorship, and community engagement, we aspire to elevate individuals who lead with integrity, respect, and a deep understanding of the rich traditions and nuances of our culture. By doing so, we hope to strengthen the bonds of our community and set a gold standard for leadership that transcends titles and positions.
"Provide the training and resources to develop leaders of excellence."
Our mission is to empower individuals with comprehensive training programs and invaluable resources tailored to hone their leadership skills. We believe that excellence in leadership is not just about natural talent but is cultivated through continuous learning, mentorship, and hands-on experience. By offering a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical insights, we aim to nurture leaders who can inspire, innovate, and make impactful decisions. Our commitment extends beyond just training; we strive to create a supportive community where budding leaders can collaborate, share ideas, and grow together. Through our efforts, we envision a future where every individual has the tools and confidence to lead with excellence, regardless of their background or starting point.
Just as the diamond requires three properties for its formation — carbon, heat, and pressure — successful leaders require the interaction of three properties — character, knowledge, and application”. ~ cont'd
Like carbon to the diamond, character is the basic quality of the leader. But as carbon alone does not create a diamond, neither can character alone create a leader”. ~ cont'd
The diamond needs heat. Man needs knowledge, study, and preparation. The third property, pressure — acting in conjunction with carbon and heat — forms the diamond”. ~ cont'd
The third property, pressure — acting in conjunction with carbon and heat — forms the diamond. ”. ~ General Edward C. Meyer, Former US Army Chief of Staff
By "Laying the Bricks," we mean the path we take to create the framework around which the House can function as we develop our new social construct. It defines how new members are accepted, the selection and function of leadership, our procedures and systems, and the decision-making processes. These underpinnings determine how our new social construct is organized and functions.
Building Villages deals with establishing structure early in developing our new social construct. This structural development is flexible and occurs in proportion to all projects of the House, so it occurs in parallel with all growing accomplishments and takes place in tandem, side by side. This approach means we think about functionality from the beginning of the new social construct's life and throughout its development. As our House evolves, so will our mindset evolve while developing the new social construct.
Trusting The Process is about our need for perseverance and patience as we develop our new social construct. No matter how hard or futile that feels, we still have to wake up daily, put one foot in front of the other, and look for potential opportunities, even in ambiguous situations. We can choose to waste our time worrying about the alternative to a growth mindset and give up - a sure path to missing out on success, or we can trust the process like our ancestors who've never given up and have done great things.
House Blue Flames has evolved into a cultural think tank providing leadership and service development opportunities and training. We are facilitating genuine and functional ways for our members to serve within our cultural dynamics and their local communities.
